Groups on DeviantART

I’ve been a member of DeviantART for awhile, and I will admit I haven’t done to much there. But it seems DeviantART is starting to step up their game. At my latest login I noticed the announcement for Groups. The Groups seem to be an attempt at a more organized social networking. ANY social networking is good, it may not directly correlate into sales but social networking has other benefits too. By taking part in a social network you can be influenced by other artists, encouraged when you are discouraged, and basically keep your enthusiasm up. As any artist trying to sell art on the internet knows, it can be discouraging.
I will get back with a more indepth review after I have tested the new Group feature for awhile.
